Translation and your display name

You work entirely in English. Customers can write in their own language: the AI Manager translates their messages into English for you, and translates the messages you send into their language. To the customer, you appear under your display name.

How translation works

  1. The customer writes in their own language.
  2. You read it in English. The AI Manager tells you when a customer writes in another language and that it is translating, so you can answer in plain English.
  3. You reply in English. The three drafts are already in the brand's tone. If you edit one or write your own, it is checked on the card, tone included, before it reaches the composer. The composer shows the final English text.
  4. The customer reads your reply in their language. When you select Send, the message is translated. Translation is the last step, applied to the message you already approved.

The translation changes only the language, never the content. The ticket keeps both sides as they were written: the customer's original, your English and the translations.

Write in English

If you write on a card in another language — your reason for a decision, a question, or your own message — the AI Manager does not translate it. It asks you to rewrite it in English.

Knowing that your message will be translated, write it plainly: avoid wordplay and very local slang, which translate badly.

Your display name

You introduce yourself to customers with your display name, not your own name.

  • It is assigned by the system from the name you registered with.
  • It appears in your Profile, under Profile Information, and cannot be edited there.
  • The drafts the AI Manager writes for you already use it, in the introduction and, on email, in the signature. If you write your own message with your own name, the check sends it back and asks you to use your display name.

If you think your display name was assigned wrongly, ask for a correction from your Profile, in Your data. See Your data.

You are a person

A display name is how you are presented, not a claim about who is answering. If a customer asks directly whether they are talking to a person or to an AI, you are a real person, and you do not hide it.

FAQ

Do I need to speak the customer's language?

No. You work in English, and the customer reads their own language.

Can I change my display name?

Not in your Profile. If it was assigned wrongly, ask for a correction in Your data.
