The Simulator
The Simulator shows how the AI handles the cases your store can receive, before any real customer is involved. You pick a case and watch the conversation, or play the customer yourself. It is on the Simulator card of your AI setup.
Open the Simulator
- Open Settings from the account menu of your dashboard.
- Go to the AI setup with Aria.
- Click Simulator.
The card unlocks when your setup progress reaches 100%, together with Charter, Cast and Policy Gate. You can use it before you choose a plan.
Find a case
The Scenarios panel on the left holds the catalog, in three levels:
- Families — groups of related ticket types.
- Ticket types — the kinds of tickets in that family.
- Cases — the specific situations within a type.
Use Search all cases… to find a case directly. Each case can be seen as a chat and as an email.
Three ways to test
Watch
Watch the conversation for the case play out between a customer and your AI, without typing anything. The conversations come from the same examples the AI follows in production, so what you see is the pattern your AI uses.
When you pick a case, the Simulator shows who writes and their first message. Click Watch it think to play it, or Show the whole conversation to open it all at once. While it plays, the controls at the bottom stop, replay, switch between 1× and 2×, and Show it all.
See how the AI thinks
Beside the conversation, How it's thinking opens one group for each customer message. Each group shows the steps the AI took before it answered: understanding the message, checking your Charter, asking the Policy Gate when money is involved, and choosing the words. Each step lists what it read, and Open takes you to the screen it came from. A step appears only when there is something real behind it.
At the end, a case summary sums up what happened, and Full analysis opens the complete view of the case.
Try It
Type as a customer, and the AI answers under your Charter. Use it to test the requests your customers actually send.
Explore
Ask your AI any edge case, and see how it handles it. The screen suggests questions to start from.
The AI that answers is one of the agents of your Cast, shown by name. See Cast.
Cases without a written conversation
A few cases have no conversation written for them. They are handled with the pattern of a neighboring case of the same type, and the screen says so: No scripted demo for this case yet. Razviel does not make up a conversation to fill the screen. Switch to Try It to test that case yourself.
Why some cases show a lock
A case shows a lock when it belongs to an Aria Skill your store has not configured. If your store has no subscriptions, for example, the subscription cases stay locked, and they do not load: your policy says you do not run that flow, and Preview does not pretend you do.
To unlock them, switch the Skill on in Settings and answer Aria's questions about it. The cases unlock once your answers are in your Charter. See Aria Skills.
FAQ
Can I change how the AI answered a case?
Yes. At the end of a conversation, click Something's off to open the screen that decided it, change it, and replay the case. See Correct a response.
Do Simulator conversations reach real customers?
No. The Simulator runs inside your dashboard, on example conversations and on what you type.
