Disconnect and reconnect
You can disconnect an integration at any time from Settings. Disconnecting stops Razviel's access to that account. It does not unlink your store from your workspace: a workspace only ever reconnects to the store it was first connected to.
What disconnecting does
When you disconnect, Razviel stops accessing that account, and everything that depends on it stops. Open tickets that need that account can be escalated to your team. Your fees for the current billing period are not reduced.
What happens next depends on where your account is.
Before your trial starts
Connect and disconnect freely. There is no consequence and no confirmation.
During your trial
The trial starts when your Human Node is assigned to your store. From then on, disconnecting a required integration pauses the trial, because Razviel cannot operate without it.
- Reconnect within 2 hours and the trial resumes where it stopped, with no time lost. This window is for a disconnection made by mistake.
- After 2 hours, reconnecting the same store within 14 days goes through a review before the service resumes.
- Your Human Node is held for your store for 5 days from the disconnection, and returns to the Pool at the end of them.
Time spent paused is not added to your trial.
With an active plan
Disconnecting pauses your operation, because there is no service without the connection. Before you disconnect, the screen tells you this and the default button keeps you connected.
- Reconnect within 5 days to keep the same Human Node. It is the same window an unpaid invoice has, for the same reason: the question is whether your brand can be served. See If a payment fails.
- After 5 days, your Human Node returns to the Pool, and new Human Nodes are prepared when you come back.
Reconnect
Reconnect from the same place in Settings, the same way you connected the first time. See Connect Shopify.
Reconnecting accepts only the same store. The link between your workspace and your store is made with your store's ID number in Shopify, so renaming your .myshopify.com address does not break it.
A store belongs to one workspace
The first verified Shopify connection links that store to your workspace for good. The workspace keeps that store's history, and it cannot be pointed to a different store. Moving a store from one workspace to another is not possible.
If you try to connect a store that is already linked to another workspace, the screen tells you to sign in to that workspace or to contact support. Disconnecting it there does not free it.
Gorgias works differently: it is checked, not linked. One Gorgias account can serve several stores, as long as it contains the store of the workspace you are connecting.
FAQ
I disconnected by mistake during my trial. What do I do?
Reconnect within 2 hours. The trial resumes where it stopped.
Can I connect a different store to my workspace?
No. A workspace reconnects only to the store it was first connected to. To run another store, create another workspace for it.
