Brand standby

When the brand you serve stops paying and its account is put on hold, you go on standby with that brand for up to 5 days. You stay attached to the brand, no modules are offered, and nothing counts against you.

What happens, day by day

A missed payment does not reach you on the first day. The brand has 1 day of grace first, in which its AI stops answering and its Human Nodes are not touched: your modules run as usual. Your standby only starts after that day.

1. The brand's account is put on hold. You go on standby. The top of your dashboard shows the brand's status and the time left, and you receive a notice explaining the cause.
2. Days 1 to 5. You stay on standby. If the brand reactivates in this time, it gets the same Human Nodes back.
3. The brand reactivates within 5 days. The standby ends and your modules resume as before.
4. The 5th day passes without reactivation. You are released automatically, and the Pool is open to you for another position. You never have to ask.

During the standby

• No modules, no pay. No module is offered at a brand on hold, so there is nothing to work and nothing to pay for that period.
• No consequence. Because no module is offered, none can be confirmed or missed. The standby never counts against you.
• No extra modules. The Module Market is empty for you until the standby ends, so that you are available if the brand reactivates.
• No early release. You cannot release yourself from the standby before the 5th day. The usual freedom to decline modules 48 hours ahead does not open an early exit from it.

Amounts already credited to your payout account are not affected.

Why the standby exists

Serving a brand includes the risk that it has a problem, including a failed payment. The standby holds you available so the brand can recover the same Human Nodes if it reactivates quickly. Five days is the longest you are held.
